Black ops 2 zombies: Origins
Origins is the 4th and final zombies DLC for black ops 2 and takes place in northern France in 1902.
the 4 characters are the originals from the first black ops, Richtofen, Takeo, Nikolai and Dempsey.
the characters spawn in a standard room with two exits, costing 750 each. The M14 and a new weapon the Balista are on the wall. M14 costing 500 and the Balista costing 200.
the map is quite open compared to some previous maps, however, his does not make it easy as the central mound is condense and the mud that is around the tank route of the map and most of the do-able training spots make the map difficult. The panzer soldat, the new boss zombie, comes down on certain rounds, he has a hook that can pull you into him and a flamethrower that will down you if he gets too close. if the soldat grabs you, you can escape his clutches by shooting the small flashing red dot on his arm which will release you, however you need to be quick as it only appears for a few seconds. here are also three giant thousand foot robots that pass over the map, thor, freia and odin, they pass over at different spots, the spawn, the middle and the church. on occasion they will pass over the map together which makes training difficult, when one passes over on its own one of its feet will be glowing, if you shoot it, it will open, stand under the open foot and let it stand on you, you will be teleported to the top of the robots head where you can collect a piece of the wind staff.
A new feature in Origins is the ability to dig using shovels that are found around the map. you can get weapons or perk drops from dig spots, also pieces of the ice staff but only when it snows there are two in the spawn, one by the tank and one by the wind tunnel next to the work bench. dig spots spawn in at the start of every round. the tank is also new, similar to the bus in TranZit it is found inside the church and travels around the map, it cost 500 to activate and is useful to be able to complete the lightning staff.
Elemental staffs are also new, there is 4 of them, the wind staff, lightning staff, fire staff and ice staff. Each staff has three parts and there are different ways to get them i.e. the pieces of the wind staff are inside each of the three giant robots, once you have all the pieces of one of the staffs you can create it at the bottom of the excavation site in the middle of the map. you can upgrade the staff to become ultimate staffs which give them a massive increase in power and the ability to revive team mates with them.
New weapons in the map are the mg08 light machine gun, scorpion, mp40, KSG and the tommy gun. the pack a punch is at the top of the mound, to access it you must turn on all 6 generators that are around the map, all generators us be on at the same time, if one gets attacked the pack a punch will stop working.
The perks on the map, there is jug, sleight of hand, mule kick, quick revive and Stamin-up. there are other perks only accessible via the wonder fizz, to activate the wonder fizz the generator next to the specific wonder fizz that contains the meteor must be turned on. it cost 2000 each and you can only carry 4 perks at a time. perks available from this are the 5 perks on the map also electric cherry, PHD, dead shot and double tap.
Origins is a really good map, with enough difficulty to keep me wanting more and a ton of underlying secrets to be discovered, the Easter egg is a throw back to one of the black ops 1 campaign maps and the ending cut scene was jaw dropping. Treyarch pulled out all the stops to give zombie fans the best possible send off for black ops 2 and they past with flying colours.

Black ops 2 zombies: Buried
Buried is the 3rd DLC map for black ops 2, it features the return of the green run/Tranzit group Misty, Marlton, Rustman and Stuhlinger. the map is set in a western town buried deep underground, hence the name buried. The players start above ground on this metal walkway with a giant pit below them in the centre. there is an LSAT on the wall above the spawn which players must jump on a platform to get to, in doing this the ledge will give way, sending you deep underground. alternatively players can just jump down the hole and take no damage as this leads to the main part of the map. the M14 and Olympia is above ground on the walk way.
Once you go down the giant hole quick revive is on the right and a chalk drawing will be right in front of you, the chalk drawings are of weapons, you go up to them and take them of the wall and place them where you see a "?" on the wall.
A friendly AI simply known as the giant is locked in his cell in the sheriffs office, once you grab the key and unlock the cell you must give him booze from the bar across the town. with the booze the giant will run and knock down barricades as long as he is facing away from them. you can also feed the giant candy and depending where you feed him, he can lock down a box, build buildable, or even move a box to a location.
New weapons on the map are the Remington new model army, time bomb and the paralyzer. the new model army is a 6 round pistol which deals similar damage to the python. the time bomb takes place of your monkey bomb slot so sadly you cant have both, when you throw the time bomb down it will have the round you threw it down on the bottom corner, when you activate it, it wuill take you back to where you were when you threw it and back to the round you threw it down. the paralyzer is self explanatory, when you fire them at the zombies it slows them down and eventually kills the zombies, it does have a charge on it so it can over heat.
perks on the map are the standard jugg, speed, staminup, mule kick, double tap and a new perk vulture aid, which when you kill zombies drop a small about of money and ammo, some zombies drop theramone which when you stand in it zombies will not go near you giving you time to recover or regeneratrwe the paralyzer.
Buried is a open map with the buildings being condensed and not very many training spots, it is a tactical map best played with 2-4 players.
rating 7.5/10

Black ops 2 zombies: Mob Of The Dead
Mob of the dead is the 2nd DLC and features 4 separate characters from the usual storyline. they are Al Arlington, Sal Deluca, Fin O'Leary and Billy Handsome. the player starts off in afterlife mode, which is unique to motd, this is to do with the EE but I will go over that in a different video. the doors are the same as other maps costing points to open, apart from too which you turn on using afterlife by zapping the voltmeter. there is no power switch in motd, you turn on the perks by using the voltmeter in single player you get 3 afterlife's, every successive round you play without going down you get another afterlife, up to 3 afterlife's. afterlife acts as quick revive as there is no quick revive perk. you got to volt boxes to activate them, in co-op you get 1 per character per round and they don't stack.
the added guns to mob of the dead are the bludergat, the wonder weapon which you can upgrade to the vitriolic withering by upgrading it with the acid gat then pack a punching it. to get to the pack a punch you need to build the Icarus on the roof and fly to the golden gate bridge.
the zombie boss, Brutus, spawns in every so oftenand has to ability to lockdown perks and work benches, he isn't that hard to kill, I suggest using the ray gun, its probably the quickest.
to get the tomahawk you need to kill zombies neer the dog head locations once zombies are dead the dog will eat them. once the dog is full it will disappear, once all 3 dogs are feds the tomahawk will appear above the spiral staircase.
all in all a good map, really enjoyable and has a great storyline 8/10

Black ops 2 zombies: Die Rise
Die Rise occurs in post-apocalyptic Shanghai, China; the fight against the zombies takes place on two skyscrapers. The top half of the spawn building is broken off and wedged upside-down between the two skyscrapers, bridging the gap between them while effectively acting as a third building. It is also the first map in Zombies to introduce a true element of verticality, including broken elevator shafts, upside down skyscrapers, deadly falls, and elevators which transport randomized Perk-a-Cola machines and the Pack-a-Punch machine up and down the floors.
Die Rise is the first map where you have an alternative route out of the spawn which costs no money, and only has one door to open for 750 to get to the power. the wonder weapon on Die Rise is again a buildable but is the highly effective sliquifier. this gun cannot be pack-a-punched but is still useful in the high rounds, even 100+ if used right.
the perk machines and pack-a-punch are randomised in what lift they are but are split into two areas, quick revive is always in the first elevator in he first building, speed-cola and whos who are also i the firs building but swap between each other, double tap, mule-kick, juggernaught and pack-a-punch are on the second building but swap between each other. die rise consists of a lot of narrow corridors in the second building on the lower floors, although there is a good training area in the buddha room, on the botom floor of the first building and the roof of the second building.
the trample steam is effective for locking down a window or getting from building to building, but be careful as if it is not placed correctly you might fall to your death.
there are 3 box locations on the map 1 on the 3rd highest floor of the spawn building and 2 on the second building, being the roof and 4th floor respectivly.
die rise is a fun map, it is going back to a standard zombie map like BO1, with verticality element coming into play makes it a straegical map, there is areal danger of falling to your death so you always have to watc your footing. it was one of my favorite maps in b02 anxd the easter egg is fun in iself (will do a tutorial of both sides in a later blog)

Black ops 2 zombies
Nuketown
Nuketown Zombies is set during the events of Moon, and after the end of the multiplayer level from the original Black Ops game. A group of radiation scientists are investigating the Nuketown remains and discover soldiers that have been revived by Element 115 from a nearby Nevada base. this sets up the stage for nuketown zombies, you play as either hazmat or C.I.A agents.
The maps is the sam map from bo1 but some of the areas have debris in the way that you cant get rid off, this makes the map tighter than it already is, the perks in the map are juggernought quick revive, speed cola and double tap, the pack a punch is also in the map. perks work diffrently in this map. you have a counter on the nuketown sign and a clock with the numbers 1-3 every 100 kills you have a 1 in 3 chance of the perk machine dropping, this is the same with the pack a punch. the order is completly random. this makes the map quiter hard if you have to survive till round 20+ to get jugg.
the weapons in the map are standard blops 2 weapons with a few editions, the LSAT makes its first appearance and the m27 makes its only appearance in bo2 zombies.
there are 3 main training spots in the map, back green middle and back yellow, it is easy to survive thwe map using these training spots its getting set up which is the hard part.
i personally like the map, it adds a challege to a basic zombie map. however i would have liked to see the map how it originally was, without the blockades but none the less it is an enjoyable map.

call of duty black ops 2 zombies
In these series of blogs i will be discussing each of the DLC zombie maps from bo2.
I will give my opinion on the maps as well as the weapons and general difficulty of the map and the dificulty level of the boss zombie, if the map has one. I will also be giving tips on what are the best weapons to use when going for high rounds. I will give the maps an overall rating out of 10
The maps i will be covering are as follows:
Nuketown
Die Rise
Mob of the dead
Buried
Origins
The first four maps in that list feature the new characters in bo2, apart from motd, the last map, origins, features the original characters from bo1. I will not be going over any of the easter eggs but i might give a mention to do them if they reward you with constant perks, which are valuble for high rounds.
These blogs are my own personal opinion, I welcome all comments and critisism.
